Hmmm. I'm using an old Apple HD 20SC on my IIgs with a Apple HS SCSI card,
but I don't think it has the mod. Does the 20SC supply term power? I've
noticed that for some reason (probably unrelated, but maybe not) I'm
getting strange errors...The drive will not be seen at all on startup, the
drive will begin to start up GSOS and then give me a message halfway
through startup about a 'SCSI device needing to have it's driver installed
into GSOS' or something like that....usually, if I turn on the HD a bit
before I turn on the computer, leave it on, then start up the computer,
leave that on for a little bit, and then soft-reset, it will find the
drive and boot properly with no further problems...this wouldn't have
anything to do with termination power, would it? Or just a funky HD...?
