Q: Transfering Disk Images using Tape Output

Hi Folks:

I have a program that I wrote years ago that copies every track of a
disk to a cassete tape. If I connect the tape output of my Apple II to
my Sound Blaster line input, I'll be able to get all ZEROS/ONES of my
disk in my PC.

After that, I can write a program that read the .wav file and generate
a disk image. But, I don't know how to generate a disk image, because
I know that I should insert lots if bits to create sector formating
and other stuffs like this, but I don't know any detail.

Questions:

1) Do you know a program ready to use that tranfer disk images using
the tape output?

2) Is there a disk image format without those bits but only with the
acctual data (I write to the tape not the total 140k, but only the
actual data). Any suggestion on wich format to use or a program that
can create a disk image from the format I have?

Regards,

Carlos
