My Asimov and Cabi archives, and a great lil' Utility too!!

First off...I'd like to say.....AcK!!!!!! I hate wind@ws 98!!!!!
Since my recent Linux crash, I have been running my FTP and web server
off win98....basically...what I'm trying to say is....it crashes a
lot. I was out of town the past couple 3'ish days....and returned
home to find that my computer was blue screened. This never happened
with Linux :-) I also cannot go back to Linux until device drivers
are made for the new kernel. I upgraded my kernel to fix security
leaks in the 2.2.19 kernel....and lost my sb live sound card, and my
i740 video card in the process. This was no real surprise...as both
these are NOT currently supported under Linux...and had to be hacked
to work at all. Please bear with me, and realize that the servers may
crash from time to time while they are running on that hideous virus
with mouse support that is called win98.

Also....found a great utility called 'uncook'. It basically takes any
files that were mistakenly sent to you as 'text' files (improper MIME
type settings under Apache, etc), and fixes them so they are Binary
files. This seems to be a big problem with files received via http
off some servers. Mine is configured to send the apple filetypes as
binary images, however, and it isn't necessary to 'uncook' files
received off my server via http. I'll post this great win32 utility
on the binaries apple2 newsgroup.
