I forgot to mention that on an Apple II model with slots, you can add
a PC Transporter card which will allow your 3.5" disk drives to write
to MS-DOS format, thus solving your transfer problems.  With a IIc,
you can't do this.

Of course with a IIGS and an SCSI card, you can connect an
SCSI Zip Drive and use the MUG! desk accessory to transfer to and
from MS-DOS on Zip disks!  Hats off to the master programmer
from Australia who wrote MUG!  ;-)
