I take it to mean that Apple has arranged for Sun to handle service stock
and the like. Kinda like how Sun has been the only place to get Apple III
and Lisa stuff for approximately forever. You don't really think you could
haula busted Apple II into CompUSA and get it fixed now do you? The old
fashioned full blown Apple dealer concept is almost as passe as Apple IIs
are these days.

Uh, GUIs aren't that hard to come by. Don't see BeOS for Intel or anything
else challenging the Gates empire exactly. There is no room in the market
for anyone besides Mac and Wintel any more.
