Re: Pirates of Silicon Valley

HAHAHA!!!
I WAS THERE MAN!!!!!

:) - I think the reason they didnt outline Commodore and the other
companies is because none of them are around anymore... and you must
remember a majority of computer users these days don't know what a
Commodore is, so they covered the two big guys that everyone would relate
to....

Personally - I don't like MacOS - but it's truly amazing what apple put on
a single disk for the GS, and what MS does on a CD... I think Apple
definitely had the better programmers hands down... I saw the TNT movie -
and while it had it's share of innaccuracies - it was a good movie.

I would like to see a real hollywood movie made to portray the entire
history of computers though.... even if it is a 4 hour movie :)

I'm a geek at heart I guess... I always wanted an Apple ][plus after our
school got one.. but the $2500 price tag (and WAY BACK THEN TO BOOT) kept
it far out of our reach... now I am a programmer and am fortunate enough
to afford the toys I want.. now I collect old machines, and Apple's are
the main ones I try to get my hands on...
