For starters, open it up and take a good look at the keyboard and
associated parts. Make sure any socketted chips and connectors are
seated and look for anything that might be amiss. If that doesn't work,
try carefully removing and reinstalling them. If that doesn't fix it,
you need either the equipment, expertise, and schematics to troubleshoot
it, or another Apple /// to swap components between.
