Sorry about that.  It was my mistake.  The newsgroup is actually
comp.binaries.apple2, not comp.sys.apple2.binaries.  ;-(

No problem.  Macbinary is fine since it does the same thing with
regards to preserving Mac types.  Thanks for all the help.  A
DiskCopy 4.2 version also would be great if it is not too much of
a bother.  The IIGS has a program called Clone that can extract
such images so having it would be great.

No, no, you are the few Mac users who've responded to this
request.  I'm quite surprised that many otherwise helpful Mac
and IIGS crossplatform users went completely quiet when the
issue of Mac archiving GS Shrinkit was raised (instead, they
seem to prefer forcing users to go through hoops like ProTYPE).
