It won't work at all under GS/OS.
If you have the earlier version of the Laser UDC card (the earlier full length
card), you can use it but only under ProDOS 8. Apparently Apple and
Video Technologies (the company that made the Laser UDC) never wrote
a GS/OS driver for the card. The newer (half size) version of the UDC
has support for the drive taken out (UniDisk 3.5 support was also taken
out of the newer version).
Given the fact that the Focus IDE hardcard from http://www.allelec.com/
Alltech Electronics is only $59 and it IS a standard IDE card so that you
can swap in another IDE drive up to 2GB plus a library of freeware and
shareware for the IIGS is included, I recommend selling the HD20 to a
Mac collector and getting the Focus drive for the IIGS instead.
