That is my findings as well. As per above, one NEEDS to format the
cartridges on an SCSI Mac (Wallstreet G3 Powerbook is mine) and then
move THAT cartridge to the IIgs. At least that's the only way I could
get it to work - and I tried a bunch of methods and programs over
several days. The Jaz comes with an SCSI ID of device #4, so make
sure none of the other devices in the SCSI chain have that ID#,,,,
The Jaz is self aware as to termination and I left the termination
switch in the middle on 'A".....And the Ramfast, I believe, is
terminanted already and is device # 1.
I have the following-- Ramfast 3.01f--->Apple CD drive--> Zip 250---
> 2nd Zip 250--> Jaz as my chain. The Zips are ID 5 and 6 (only
choices)
