Why do you need System 5.04? There is a newer version stored in a Mac archive
format on the Apple support site. It is the only format they offer now. Expect
most Apple files to be in the SHK format. The program NULIB will unpack them.
It works for Dos, Linux and I think the Mac. Comes with source if you have a C
compiler.

You were at the right spot, you just have to get the right tools to translate
the stuff. It should be easier for you on a mac. It can read and write Prodos
disks.

On my PC I have to transfer the stuff to a simulated disk then unpack. Or use
NULIB to unpack the SDK files.

The cabinet site is the only place I know of that has Appleworks GS. You just
have to check the different directories.
