If anybody can help, that would be great...

I'm downloading files via PC. I store them on floppy and then transfer them
to a Mac Performa. Then I insert a prodos disk in and transfer from mac.

The problem is that I lose the file type info. It seems to get lost at the Mac
and
at the IIgs. The mac just displays a PC icon for each file, and the iigs shows
the file as "typeless".

I'm trying to get a terminal program on the gs so I can just use a null modem
connection.
