Do your clone cards have room for extra chips than a standard one?

My MPF-III has a controller card designed to fit twice as many ROMs
as a standard card - I guess to let you have DOS3.2 and DOS3.3 ROMs onboard
at the same time. Not sure how they would be used (my photocopy of the
circuit diagram is rather unclear on this - nth generation copy).
