     Maybe you should just request a refund; or, possibly, accept a credit and
get something else from Sequential, like a RamFAST, etc.. 

     According to posts here, the Second Sight board can not display standard
hires or double-hires; so, SS + a VGA monitor does not seem to be a particularly
good replacement for a regular IIgs monitor.
