You say you formatted the floppy to 800K.... Note that the default disk
format on macs is as a mac (HFS) disk. The IIGS will not read a HFS
disk as a boot volume, as far as I know. Try again, and see if you can
format the disk as ProDos...not HFS. If that option is not available,
then you need a newer/better equipped mac (with PCExchange for example)
or a IIGS to format the disks.
