You appear to be unaware that the web browser strips all the HTML crap out of
the post and prepends the plain text version (generally *very* badly
formatted) to the top.  This is duplication.  And it's evil.

It fell out of the sky due to being overburdened with useless formatting
directives.

So?  Some of us are actually capable of such things.  Plus, if you don't
wordwrap it, most URLs (although not that one with Messenger) are spotted as
such in the plain text and are clickonable to launch the browser...
