First of all, make sure you have System 6.0.1 installed.
Second, you need to install the ApplTalk options with the
Install disk. This installs not only drivers, but a control
panel for AppleTalk.

Second, once you turn on AppleTalk from the control
panel, you can enable it in the Slots control panel (you
might have to designate it in slots 1 or 2 also if you have
a ROM 01 IIGS).

Third, after all is set, make sure you install Easymount
using the System 6.0.1 install disk. This will let you set
up an alias on the IIGS Finder desktop to automate the
log on process.
