Re: asp files
FWIW, .asp files are known as 'Active Server Pages'.
I remember seeing an app that stripped (or maybe added?) data to make it
formatted and stuff for HTML, but I think what it basically did was
pretend to be a request to the server and catch whatever it was that the
asp spit out and then make a few touches to it. I don't remember if the
.asp file itself is truly intelligible or not. ah well. leave it to MS to
make a nonstandard standard.
