Oddly enough, this IS in the works. As more cash becomes available more
things are being done. I may be able (if I figure out how) to connect
the GS and the Mac via Appletalk, This way I ftp the software from the
486 to the Mac and transfer to the GS with Appletalk. Once I get some
more cable, another network card, and a whole lot of knowledge it
shouldn't take too long. ;-)
Actually it never occurred to me to ftp the information to the Mac.
When I get a network up and running this is what I think I'll do.
OTOH, Once I get the networking software on the Mac I'll be able to
avoid the 486 completely. I'll contact my ISP and see if they have some
advice...
