Well to be perfectly accurate, you're only guaranteed access to ProDOS 
floppies with it. It won't support SCSI devices which don't have a compatible
driver in the driver partition while it will provide one for DOS volumes on
devices without drivers. I found this out back when Nathan was still
polluting this group. Unfortunately he was right about that one.
