a) It is a 20 Mhz 68030 based Macintosh computer. It is the best Mac available
if you need to run system 6. It will not run most of the software produced
recently, and it is excruciatingly slow.
b) You can use it for:
---old games (Jewelbox, Glypha, Prince of Persia)
---old software (MS Word 4.0, Excel 2.2, Photoshop 1.0, MacDraw)
---MIDI Controller (with MIDI Interface box)
---8 bit sound capture
---Accessing the internet (with modem)
A side note... the IIsi does not have a 16MB memory configuation. The valid
configuations are 1 MB, 3MB, 5MB, 9MB, 17MB, 65MB. As it has 1MB soldered on
the motherboard and has 4 30 pin slots which must be populated with identical
simms.
