Are you kidding? The Apple IIGS can use most kinds of PC floppy
and superfloppy disks with the BlueDisk or MicroDrive controller.
The BlueDisk can control 360k, 1.2MB, 720k, 1.44MB, and 2.88MB
standard PC floppy disk drives. The MicroDrive can control IDE
hard disk drives and also the SuperDisk LS120, the IDE version.

With an SCSI controller, you can also use Zip drives, SCSI hard
drives, and Floptical disk drives.

The Apple IIGS has read support for MS-DOS FAT and write
support can easily be provided with the shareware MUG! desk
accessory!
