Mystery Card ID Help?
Hi,
I recently purchased a box of old Apple ][ cards. Everything from a
ROMWriter EPROM burner to an Apple ][ 3.6MHz 6502 accelerator. I have
managed to ID most of them, but there is one card that has me stumped. I
would appreciate some help IDing this card.
The card is six inches long. There is no manufacturer name, product ID, or
serial number. The card has a three pin connector on the upper left
corner. In the center of the card is a large IC marked "HD46505SP" and
"HD6845SP". There are three EPROMS on the card with the face plate covered
by glossy black stickers. The EPROMs are marked "MSM2716AS" and "2X50".
The left edge of the card has a bank of four chips marked "P2114A-5" and
"BF1427230F". The bottom edge, just under the "HD46505SP", has three chips
marked "SN74LS157N" and "I8209".
There are thirteen other individual chips scattered around the card.
If worst comes to worst, I will plug it in to an Apple ][+ and see what
happens. I would feel better knowing what to expect from this card ahead
of time.
Thanks,
BrianD
