     1990 sounds about right. The last Epyx game I reviewed was Chip's
Challenge, a very good multi-level action-puzzle challenge for PC.

     Epyx is best known for the series of Olympic style games they published
for the Apple II and Commodore 64 around 1984. Summer Games, Winter Games, and
California Games all did well and placed Epyx among the top game makers. These
titles, along with World Games, were all released for IIgs, too.

     As to why Epyx just faded away, I suppose they couldn't keep up with the
competition. Everyone was pretty well played out when it came to Olympic sports
and Epyx did not come out with something hot for PC or the Game Boy machines.
