Quite simply, the easiest way is with CrossWorks from
http://www.sequential.systems/ Sequential Systems. Others are sure
to bring up the null-modem option, but since you have a modem on
the IIc, you can connect the IIc and PC modems together via a
telephone cable and go into terminal mode on both. Type "ATD"
on one to initiate connection and type "ATA" on the other to
answer. Then transfer files via xmodem, ymodem, or zmodem.
This won't translate your AppleWorks files, though, only
CrossWorks will do that.
