I have one in a Tulin external enclosure. It works well with my IIgs and
RamFAST interface. One interesting feature of it is that it allows you to
use 3.5" PC floppies with a PC Transporter too (which incidentally gives you
the ability to write MS-DOS floppies on a IIgs). I don't really need it much
anymore because all of my machines have FDHD drives on them, so I just have
it plugged into my Mac SE/30 which I use as a file server for my II's. That
way I can share the floptical between all of my machines for backups and
such. Using HardPressed, I never have any trouble putting a full 32MB volume
on a 21MB floptical. I don't really think it's particularly well suited for
backups, though, since the disks are susceptible to bit rot over time. Right
now I'm thinking of replacing it with a CD-R or MO drive.
