Nope, it won't hurt to ask, but he made it clear in the message I included in
the Public Domain Announcement, and again in a response to someone else who
then plastered that response here, that he really has no intentions of getting
his Apple IIgs out and turning it on.  He said he retired the computer and that
it was acting flakey anyway.

But you are right, it won't hurt to ask.  Hmm, I think he already has been.
