Installing to HD?

I've have burned so much time trying to make this work I'd appreciate
input.

I'm using Rocket Ranger as a test case for what I'm trying to do.
So far I've:
Added Taifun Boot to my HD to allow me to run a second operating system.
I've installed Prosel 16 under Prodos 16 as my 2nd OS.
Using HD install I've done what the instructions say to install RR.

Next I Taifun Boot to Prosel, launch RR, and it gets through the bootup
and shows the first picture with 1940 across it, no music and then it
hangs.

This is the farthest I've ever gotten in installing this game, is there a
last tweek someone can suggest?  If this works, it means that with this
setup, pretty much anything can be installed on a GS/OS drive.
