I for one Am glad to see the forward thinking going on at apple.  I agree
that it is a hard transition.  But like all things, there is always some
price that must be paid in exchange for progress.

Working in computer retail I have seen how USB has practically swept the
market.  Every vendor training I have been to has had nothing but talk
about the future of USB.  Soon almost every peripheral on the market will
have a USB port or version.  This will automatically make it new mac
compatible.  Another key vendor phrase has been " Yes , it works with the
iMac".

Seeing how all this new innovation and energy has not only revived the
Apple, but the whole computer industry, I am well willing to go with
current wave of change.  Especially since it leads to the future.
