i WANT to say that i tried this too, but i don't recall.  i know that i
monkeyed with the idea of installing AWGS a few months ago and tried
several things then, and then i got frustrated and walked away before i
threw it across the room.  i decided it was time to revisit the problem
and i KNOW i didn't try it last night.  i'll try it tonight, and i'll
update you...  hmmm...
