Programmer for UPS shutdown software for Mac

I'm looking for someone to write UPS monitoring and shutdown programs for
Linux and for Mac operating systems. Do you know if I could find someone who
could do both, or would I be better off looking for two different people?
Also, where would I look for a Mac programmer? (For Linux I already have
contacts).
