I have at least three versions of the striped Apple sticker. The ones
supplied with my IIe are still in the sealed bag -- these are the ones
using the Cupertino font, each sticker is on a separate brown backing
sheet, stickers are in two sizes, four of each size. My Packing List
(European) includes an entry for a "Promotion Package". Is this the
stickers or a magazine subscription or whatever?
Modern stickers use the Garamond font -- I'll look through the ones I have
at home to see if there are any variations, but all of the recent stickers
have been of this type. Each sheet contains two big and two small
stickers.
The third variant I have is just a plain striped Apple logo (no caption),
two stickers per sheet.
Just for the record, 90% of the Apple kit I see is assembled in Ireland
and I imagine that the stickers are printed locally, so I would imagine
that there is more variation than just Apple's corporate image of the
moment.
Actually, I lied when I said I have three variants of the striped Apple
sticker. Number four variant is for a dealer's shop front window and, if I
recall correctly, the logo states "Apple - The Personal Computer".
What's the eBay price for an unused Apple Personal Computer carrier bag, anyway?
