Back in the old days hacking meant sitting down and writing computer
code without a lot of forethought. You hacked on a program until it
worked. It might not have been pretty, but it worked. A hacker was
someone held in high regard as they were really good at hacking. Kinda
like someone who can sit down at a piano and jam out some good tunes.
I always considered the Apple II the best hacker's machine there ever was.
It's still my favorite machine to turn on and tinker with some code
just for fun. BTW, GSoft is a great language for doing that. heh, heh
in the old days Renumber was a hacker's best friend :)
