The Red Book

Well, I scored a "coup" this weekend.  I bought, at a flea market, the "Apple
II Reference Manual", January, 1978 (The Red Book) for 50 cents.

What can people tell me about this famous work?  How many were published?
How long did it remain in print?  Who wrote the various articles?

It is a fascinating part of Apple history, with hand-drawn diagrams and lots
of code by the Woz.  Evidently, the II could also be purchased as a bear
board (like the I).  Does anyone have one of these?

BTW, unless someone wants to make me an offer I can't refuse, This Red Book
is staying in my collection.
