Re: Tell Steve Jobs what you want from Apple for the Apple II users
Hi again,
labelas@hotmail.com sent in this feedback to the post as quoted below:
"It may just do some good. And, it certainly could do NO HARM!
Well, I'm sure people could disagree. However, I do see one very good
point in this possible, to ask for some of the Apple/Claris GSware like
AppleWorks to be publically released like the System SW...but..."
And, I reply, but WHAT? Just go there and voice your concerns on whatever.
AppleWorks, AppleWorks GS, not to mention Gus and a few others that Apple could
and certainly SHOULD release as freewares.
I'm not completely insane and certainly don't ever expect them to pull out the
plans for the Apple II or IIgs and start up an assembly line production of
them. I don't think anybody expects that to happen. However the door is
opened for feedback to Apple Computer via the url I mentioned. Why not use it?
After all - with Steve Jobs at the helm of Apple now - virtually anything is
possible. Five months ago I sent Jobs an email - suggesting that he make the
iMac in other colors and get the Rolling Stones to let them use the song: 'She
Comes in Colors' to hype it. It happened.
Cheers,
Tom
