Tom,
As of 02/11/99 The Game Conquest that was created for the Apple ][ computer by
Kenneth Golomb and Kurt Cavano is now classified as freeware. All I ask is that
you enjoy the game and have fun learing your states and capitals!!

need an email from you as the owner and author of the program, stating clearly
if it's reclassified as either freeware or public domain. I'll be waiting to
receive this email from you with that information on the programs
reclassification statement before I post on it's availability to public access
and upload the disk image and shrinkit archive of the

To: All A2 Users

We need your help concerning this Conquest program and disk. The author Kenneth
Golomb sent me the ONLY MASTER disk he had left of Conquest and it had several
errors and applesoft basic problems that prevented me from making a working and
bootable disk, ShrinkIt archive of the disk or an A2 disk image for A2 emulator
needs. The author no longer has a REAL Apple II computer and must rely on
using
an Apple II emulator. I'm preparing an A2 emulator disk image of all the files
on both sides of the disk he sent me - to send on to him in the hope he can
make a working program and disk image of his program Conquest. But your help is
also
needed very much!

Conquest is a US States Trivia Educational game - much like the Risk game in
style and design (according to author).

Here's the help we need from any and all Apple II users that read this request.
The program disk sold only 10 copies during it's commercial life back in the
early 1980's. If anybody has a working copy of the 'Conquest' program disk,
PLEASE make a working disk image of it and upload it to the Asimov ftp site
incoming folder. You'd be doing the author, myself and everybody else in the
existing Apple II community a great service. Please contact me by email if you
are able to help with this request.

TIA & Cheers,
Tom
