     As has been mentioned, the main thing is to enclose all
non-variable parts of a DOS command in quotes. You are constructing a
string; so, something like ...

110 PRINT D$"BLOAD"A$"S6,D1"

is fine.


     You mention using ONERR. Something that would help with finding
errors is to disable ONERR during testing. You can do this by making the
ONERR statement into a REM.
