I have seen a few books that relate to the Apple computer in general,
Mac, arcade games, etc, but I have never seen any books that is
dedicated to Apple II. Considered that this is one of the best selling
computers at all time, there should be at least one such book.
The best book I've enjoyed in this regard is Apple Design:

It includes AWESOME photos of conceptual industrial design, and a LOT
for the Apple IIc when Frog Design was developing the 'Snow White'
style. That work is amazing - lots of tablet looking devices...and this
was from 1982-83! There are also some prototype IIGS designs, as well
as a design for a revised IIGS (possibly the ROM04?) as well as an
Apple II laptop design.
Awesome book, worth every penny. I hope my IIGS visual history will be
as good that. I'm still working at it everyone!
