Alive and well.  Yes, I use a PowerBook for the internet, but only time is
what prevents me from getting into Marietti/Spectrum/etc. and going back to
my IIgs.  AppleWorks version 5 is far and away my choice for getting any
massive amount of word processing done, keeping records, accounts and such,
and even the occasional game if and when I have the time.  Page layout is
slowly inexorably migrating to the PB simply because of print quality.
However I still like GraphicWriter III features better than what ClarisWorks
has to offer.  And not to forget the absolutely unreal Bernie ][ the Rescue
which allows you to move your whole IIgs over to the Mac.  There's life in
the ol' thing yet.
