Sure. Use Appletalk. That requires an Appletalk-compatible printer and
some cheap cabling- Phonenet is the cheapest, I think. It uses standard
modular phone wire to do the linking, and some adapters at each
computer/printer. You can link up to 32 devices, I believe. The software
is part of the MacOS. Poke around on the net to get the full details.
