friend sent me a cheap little portable LCD TV with composite in. I used
it a bit with the //e but it would work better with a smaller computer, I
think. xD
http://usotsuki.info/lcdiie1.jpg<-- you can see part of the //e case
here. I didn't set it up all the way as I just wanted to see how well it
would handle the signal (though it's possible the DVD recorder is timebase
correcting it?)

Wow, it has rabbit ears!
I have a Coby 10 inch LCD connected to my TI-99, it works great!
I use one of those multimedia modulators to connect a dvd player and
video cassette player too.
Yeah... I mainly use that set for monitoring settop caps, play a little
SNES on it because it has an NTSC tuner (only thing I have with one), but
I do occasionally watch TV on it so I upped the antenna from the pole that
came with it to one of the rabbit ears I had, and I get Fox, CW and the
country music videos channel pretty well on it. xD
But I figured being a digital TV it would have a hell of a time with the
Apple's "NTSC"... was surprised it didn't.
