Hmm. Have you tried the application 'Shrink II' for macintosh? It's on
some of the FTPs, I'm sure someone can give you the link, and that will
let you debinscii and unshrink right on the mac...then you can just drag
the files over in the comfort of the macintosh finder.

Well, the app I'm thinking of didn't need you to run the app itself, there
was a small folder with it named...imageutils? or maybe utils? dunno. but
it had one or two sort of ugly little text-based apps, but they do the job
ok. Have you tried http://emulation.net? I thought he had a copy of XGS
locally...
