Re: Can IIGS use this CD-ROM drive?? -- Drivers

Steve Nelson - As I remember it, Burger Bill wrote to you to tell you the
reasons that he did not want pre-release Harmonie betas available to
anyone, and you removed the files from ground. That was a year or more ago.
Case closed.

Supertimer - Please don't twist my words. I did not say anything to you
in e-mail about anyone forging Burger Bill's text.

All - To put it as simply as possible, many years ago, a beta tester
leaked some pre-release version of the Harmonie drivers. There never has
been a public release of beta versions of Harmonie.

Those beta versions are 9 years old, and in no way reflect what Harmonie
is.

Harmonie is a set of GS/OS printer/port drivers that are essentially used
with DeskJet, LaserJet and other assorted high quality printers. Read all
about it at http://www.crl.com/~joko

To repeat...neither the author nor publisher of Harmonie want those old
pre-release versions made available to anyone. If you run an ftp site
with those drivers available, you are violating our copyrights.

I have nothing more to say on the subject, except that I don't especially
like it when I assert claims about my legal copyrights being violated,
and I get attacked for making those claims. That has happened at least 4
times in the last few months, and it has made csa2 a very unpleasant,
nightmarish place for me to visit.
