That's going to be tough.  Finder is hardcoded to use default palette
640 mode which usually turns, for example, scanned pictures of
people into a mess.  You'll need a separate extension for Finder
that will force it to use the palette YOU want.  Then your pictures
will be reasonable.  I'll try to look up one for you.

For HyperStudio, use 16 color 320 mode.  If you have the right
XCMD for HyperStudio, you can use 256 color and 3200 color
pictures.  3200 color pictures are ideal for scanned photos in
HyperStudio because you can expect a pretty good image but
SuperConvert is limited to 256 color pictures.  If you need this
XCMD for HyperStudio, I'll also try to look it up for you.
