     Tried your idea with an IMG file of a DOS 3.3 diskette created on a
3.5" diskette (on a IIgs) using Copy II Plus v7.1. On the 3.5" diskette,
the new disk image (IMG) file was DOSUTILS.IMG, a 143360 byte file with
ProDOS filetype "IMG" or "User #7". (You add the ".IMG" yourself if you
want it to be part of the file name.)

     Then, the COPY ---> DISK option was selected in Copy II Plus v7.1
with the 3.5" diskette as the Source and a blank unformatted 5.25"
diskette in the Slot 6, Drive 1 drive as Destination. Copy II listed the
files on the 3.5" diskette, DOSUTILS.IMG was selected, and, Viola!, in
less than a minute, the image file was transferred to the 5.25"
diskette.

     The new 5.25" 'Utils disk was booted on our II+. All of the files
Verified as 'Okay'.

     A few weeks ago, I spent like an hour poking around in Copy II Plus
looking for a way to 'un-image' the files. Thanks for solving this
mystery!
