Well, I'll say it again, Richard, I wasn't talking to you... not everybody is
talking to you. I am glad to see you have cleaned up your language, I wish you
well with all  your projects, and I agree with everything you said about beta
testing.

To that, I will add that my source code is available to anyone who is capable
of reading it. The only source I won't release is Bev's Free Patcher, because
the patch routine can be dangerous if not set up correctly. We used to make
changes available about twice a day but the testers couldn't keep up. The
problem of testers volunteering and then never responding is very common (I
assume they got in over their head).

There used to be private beta test boards on Genie. You could call in once a
day, or 20 times a day. It was fun to watch. Disks were sent out FedEx (to me,
anyway; I refused to download). Response was good. I suspect that if they (we)
did it again today, response would be just as enthusiastic.
