Re: Richard / slurred speech
Mushroom (brian.hammack@rook.wa.com) made this post and comments that follow:
"I've offered no "slurs" related to Marinetti, there is nothing bad to
say about the product. I do criticize how it is the core of a field of
nonexistant-as-yet utilities, but only gently. :) The only commentary
I make is about the text and tone you use in your posts, but you should
be used to being chided about that (and in harsher terms than I have
ever used publicly). Aim your weapon at someone who resorts to
personal attacks unrelated to your attitude or your software; I view
you the same way that I viewed Nathan -- an intelligent programmer who
cares about the Apple but isn't always user-friendly, and that the fact
that you are producing good works is the one saving grace you possess.
And may your 1999 be a good one, Richard."
And I reply - well put Mushroom. I agree with your comments completely.
I'd like to add that Richard seems to perceive that I said the 'J' in RJB
stood for 'Jerk'. That is not at all correct. I never said that. I simply
asked in a post what the 'J' in RJB stood for and Richard replied that it stood
for 'Jerk'. So Richard Bennett called himself a 'Jerk'. I did not!
Now, with that out of the way and cleared up I'd like to wish Richard the very
best that life has to offer him during 1999 with all his worth-while
development efforts for the Apple 2 users. Richard also posted the question -
asking - what does the 'T.' stand for in my name: Charles T. Turley. Answer:
Thomas -> as in Tom.
Cheers,
Tom
