The Ramcharger origionally had a battery inside it. I assume that someone
has removed it, probably because it was dead.
The origional battery was an 8 volt 3.0 AH gelcell. Mine was made by
Sonnenschein in Germany. This is an odd voltage that doesnt apear to be too
common , at least on dealer sheves. I was fortunate to run across an Applied
Engineering replacement still sealed in a box and holding almost a full
charge after sitting there for 8 years.
