You're right -- it *is* nice looking (well, for a printer...).  Apple
has always had an eye for aesthetics. ImageWriters (I or II) look so
much nicer than their contemporaries...

You can hook the ImageWriter to a PC quite easily, as the IW is
basically a C.Itoh printer with a  serial interface.  With the right
cable and driver, you can hook it up to one of your serial ports and
you'll be in business!

The C.Itoh 8510a driver for Windows works well with the IW.
