Jeff, $c9 44 would be the assembly language code. We are not looking at
assembly. $44 c9 is a "less than" comparison in Pascal (or so we are told). In
this case, $C9 is not a CMP. It's a less than.

We are getting some help in e-mail, thanks to several people, I think we may be
able to resume the Quicken quest now.
